Baltimore – Transwestern today announces it has been retained by Continental Realty Corporation to sell a four-property multifamily value-add portfolio totaling 627 units in Baltimore. Dean Sigmon and Robin Williams, co-directors of Transwestern’s Mid-Atlantic Multifamily Group, are the lead listing agents on the portfolio, which includes the following properties:

· Oaklee Village: 381 units at 1001 Arion Park Road
· Leeds Avenue: 16 units at 1005 Leeds Ave.
· Hunting Hills: 150 units at 4601 Pen Lucy Road
· Mallow Hill: 80 units at 220 Stonecroft Road

“These apartment communities have been extremely well-maintained through significant capital improvements and offer investors upside potential by continuing in-unit renovations,” said Sigmon. “Additionally, the Baltimore metro area has experienced robust year-over-year job growth, and the four properties are located near major employment centers like St. Agnes Hospital, the University of Maryland – Baltimore County (UMBC), Social Security Administration Headquarters and Baltimore-Washington International Airport.”

According to Transwestern research, the Baltimore metro added 31,100 jobs during the 12 months ending August 2016, which is nearly quadruple the 10-year annual average of 8,000.

The properties are near full occupancy and offer easy access to downtown Baltimore as well as a dynamic transportation network, with proximity to Routes 1 and 40 and Interstates 695, 70 and 95.
