​After working as a security guard and DJ in bars in Chico, where he attended college, and then doing sales at an equipment company, Matt Hatfield was ready to pursue more work related to his degree in business marketing.  In 2012, he saw a job posting for a research and marketing intern at Transwestern, and he got the job.


Transwestern has sought to attract more recent college graduates, and 12 of its 27 staff in its Walnut Creek offices are under 32 years old.
